It is technically possible. I abandoned development of iCalFix when Apple implemented similar functionality in OS X 10.5, but I have open-sourced it - so if there's a willing soul out there to continue supporting older OS's, I'd be happy.

Hi, is it possible to add the automatic alarm to just one calendar in iCal, istead of every calendar?

One patch I've been searching the web for is the ability to add event notifications if your address isn't on the list of invitees. It's very annoying to have ical pull notifications from Mail.app and then refuse to add them to the calendar. ("There was a problem with this event notification".)

I've dug around a little bit with F-Script, but haven't found the right place to tweak yet.

thanks for your great little piece of code! makes one part of working with ical much easier. just one big thing missing: the same functionality for ical’s tasklist would make it perfect

Yeah, I think that’s it – “Voltage” works, “Wild Eep” doesn’t. Time to rename my “Uh oh” sound!

Changing the “Alarm Sound” string to “Uh oh” didn’t work, although “Temple” does – maybe because of the space in “Uh oh”?

Another capability I would like to see added to iCal ist alarm for birthday events! There are already workarounds and programs fpr this, but they are all inconvenient. Perhaps a new project?
