Since we’re all getting 2.0-ified on the web, I suppose it was only a matter of time before this fate would reach our old-fashioned wake-up call. If your good old alarm is not enough for you, and you just need the phone to ring to get out of bed, there’s a web service just for you: Snoozester.
OK, so the name is decidedly old school. A 2.0 name needs to be vocal-rich and completely imaginary. I’d suggest “LaDeDu” for this service. On the “with-the-hip-crowd” side of things, there’s even a sleep blog. In case you wanted to know more about sleeping and waking up, they actually have decent info.
The service itself even offers four different character voices – from the drill sergeant to the all-American sweetheart. In case you want to try it, they give you 10 free calls – from there on out it’s for-pay.
Just goes to prove there’s a service for everything on the Internet.
