If you’re running a blog and you actually want people to look at your archives, please don’t have the stupid “Previous” and “Next” entries at the bottom of each page. Nobody seems to be able to agree on what they mean. So, how about instead using “Older Entries” and “Newer Entries”? That way, we poor hapless readers of your page will actually be able to navigate larger chunks of your blog.
Unless you really don’t want people to read your old entries….
You actually expect us to know how to edit our WordPress themes?
All kidding aside, you bring up a good point since it would make more sense.
Actually, I expect the theme authors to do that. (Which many are - it’s usually the custom themes that exhibit this oddity)
Yeah — I hear you, but I don’t know how to change that on my theme….
You know, that was bugging the hell out of me on the new theme I customized. Thanks for pointing it out. And for record, I’m a code idjit, and it’s really not that hard to figure out: mine were in the index.php file, bright as day.
@communicatrix: Excellent! Happy to know this acted as a reminder. Now I just need to fix my other sites
